Welcome to KDP CoverLab Pro. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Important: By using KDP CoverLab Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

KDP CoverLab Pro is a web-based tool for designing professional, print-ready book covers for Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and other self-publishing platforms.

2. Account & Subscription

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use KDP CoverLab Pro.

2.2 Payment

Payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date
Credits (one-time purchases) are non-refundable once used

2.3 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

2.4 Plan Options

Free: Design and preview covers with no export
Credits: 10 exports for a one-time purchase — no expiry
Monthly: Unlimited exports, billed monthly
Annual: Unlimited exports, billed yearly at a discount

3. Acceptable Use

You may:

Create book covers for personal or commercial use
Upload images you own or have valid rights to use
Export and publish your designs on Amazon KDP and other platforms
Use your exported designs in any legal publishing context

You may not:

Upload copyrighted images without proper licensing or permission
Create covers with illegal, obscene, or otherwise prohibited content
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the service
Share, sell, or transfer your account credentials to others
Use automated scripts or bots to access the service

4. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain all rights to the images and text you upload. We do not claim ownership of your designs or source files.

Our service: KDP CoverLab Pro's software, branding, templates, and design system are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or redistribute them.

Exported designs: You own the exported cover files you create and may use them commercially without restriction.

5. Limitation of Liability

KDP CoverLab Pro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for:

Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
Rejection of your covers by Amazon KDP or any other platform
Copyright infringement claims arising from content you upload
Service interruptions or data loss

Maximum liability: In all cases, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, up to a maximum of $100 USD.

6. Privacy

Your use of KDP CoverLab Pro is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where KDP CoverLab Pro is operated.
